Dr. McFarland started out in a small rural clinic in western Iowa and then directed the Internal Medicine Residency at Plaza Medical Center before opening up a clinic near his home in Azle, Texas. Dr. McFarlands passion is restoring health and teaching patients to take control of their life to prevent medical illness. Dr. McFarland believes that God wants every person to have eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.
Doctor McFarland enjoys all sports and has been playing tennis, golf and snow boarding with his son. One of his favorite things is to go running in the woods with his son's dog Landry.
